Job Purpose
The Proposals Co-ordinator will participate in the 'proposals' function from end to end.

You will have responsibility, accountability and governance for ensuring that the company responds to enquiries robustly and creates winning proposals that deliver positive value for the company.


Key Accountabilities

  • Participate in the proposals function end to end
  • Log, manage and respond to enquiries in a timeframe better than customers' expectations, this includes Ingersoll Rand service line.
  • Work with Technical and Engineering functions to ensure correct equipment is proposed for the enquiry
  • Ensure that the proposal is well presented, communicating to the customer the key commercial and technical advantages for choosing James Fisher Offshore
  • Demonstrate a strong focus on the Subsea Tooling element of the business, occasionally processing orders from quote stage right through to delivery
  • Assist the sales department with spare parts enquiries at peak times.
  • To ensure the appropriate proposed commercial rates are commanded in order to deliver the correct prime gross margin for the company
  • Participate in the handover from the Proposals to Project Team on successful award of the contract
  • Help with making sure that proposals are followed up
  • Ensure the Proposals are properly caveated, supplied with terms and conditions and that deviations, exceptions or amends are communicated properly at handover stage with Projects
  • Liaise with third party suppliers when required
  • Ensure that Technical and Engineering support is used when required
  • To know the customer base and understand what the customer wants
  • Ensure processes are followed
  • Participate in lessons learned
  • To align and uphold James Fisher Offshores Values

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

  • Appropriate technical qualification or relevant experience
  • Previous experience in similar rental or project team environment
