This is a temporary post until 31st August 2024.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Planning Officer to join a small team on a temporary basis to support the strategic priorities of the HSCP.

The post holder will lead a diverse range of workstreams in line with the team workplan which currently includes Strategic Plan priorities and monitoring of outcomes; supporting health and social care services with planning and delivery; supporting redesigns; supporting Children's Services Planning; leading equalities work; monitoring of risk registers; and support transformational change.

This post will have lead responsibility for ensuring the IJB is meeting the Equality legislative requirements. The post holder will work closely with a range of internal and external stakeholders.

The post holder must be educated to degree level or have significant relevant experience in service planning and development within the public sector.

They must have evidence of good understanding of equalities legislation and implementation. Evidence of successful project management and partnership working is also essential.
