Learning Support Assistant

Weekly Pay

Secondary Schools in the area are looking for Learning Support Assistants to join their team of LSA's supporting individual students and small groups of students within their classroom based learning as well as providing additional support to teachers where required.

Responsibilities:

Providing onetoone or small group support for students
Supporting students with activities in the classroom, ensuring they understand instructions and can actively participate in lessons.
Helping to adapt learning materials and resources to suit the needs of individual students.
Encouraging independence and selfconfidence in students by providing them with the necessary support and encouragement.
Assisting with classroom management and behaviour management strategies, ensuring a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals, such as educational psychologists or speech therapists, to ensure the best possible support for students.
