Events Officer:

The postholder will help nature recover by organising and supporting events that empower and encourage people to act for nature.

They will work with staff across BBOWT, including colleagues in land management, learning, membership and fundraising.


What you'll be doing:

  • Coordinating an innovative and inspiring events programme that engages with a wide range of audiences
  • Taking ownership of key events
  • Event delivery, ensuring all materials and equipment needed for events are transported and set up
  • Keeping our events programme up to date on appropriate digital platforms
  • Managing the administration for events

What we're looking for:

  • Someone with event management skills
  • Organisational skills, selfmotivated, with the ability to work to deadlines and targets
  • Excellent project management skills, with adaptability to plan for and handle any changes or issues as they arise
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office, especially Word, Outlook, advanced Excel, and event management systems
  • Current UK valid car driving licence

Hours: 28 hours per week (flexibility in how these are worked)


Based:
The Lodge, Littlemore, Oxford, with travel to other sites as required. Hybrid working available.
