Exhibition Telesales - £30k to £35k + Comm - Hybrid - Central West London_

An Exhibition Telesales person is required by professional association, which has a small, professional and friendly team.

You will be part of the events and exhibition team, providing customer care and developing long-term relationships with exhibitorsand identifying and securing new exhibitors.

The association has a large membership base, which is growing continuously and need the telesales to sell to potential exhibitors/relevant Companies.


SALARY ETC:

- £30k to £35k + commission / target bonus

  • Permanent, fulltime
  • Good benefits and working in a friendly environment
  • Location: West London
  • Hybrid working, or office based, with occasional field work.
  • Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm

REQUIREMENTS:


  • At least 2 years working experience within a telesales environment in a proactive telesales role
  • Experience in a similar role such as Exhibition / Events / Membership sales
  • Computer literate with sound knowledge of MS Office
  • Previous experience of a CRM system
  • Knowledge of the workings of trade associations and/or membership organisations an advantage
  • Self motivated, positive and have an outgoing friendly personality.

DUTIES TO INCLUDE:


  • To work with the Head of Operations on membership events throughout the year
  • To drive exhibition new business sales with the full support of all departments.
  • Promote Membership services to relevant member companies.
  • Use New Business leads to sell Membership & Services to potential members
  • To sell sponsorship to exhibitors.
  • To gain a thorough understanding of all the relevant product areas exhibited.
  • To develop and maintain a database of exhibitors and potential exhibitors.
  • To maintain contact with confirmed and unconfirmed exhibitors.
  • To visit appropriate competitive events to contact existing and potential exhibitors and to assess competition.
  • To keep uptodate with developments in the industry and to make recommendations.
