A KS1 Teacher is required in a long-term position, undertaking full teaching responsibilities.

** £144 - £208 per day

The KS1 Teacher Role:
As a KS1 Teacher, you will be leading a Year 1 class.

This is the full KS1 Teacher role, so is not just teaching lessons, but planning marking and assessing pupils too.

This is a one-form entry school, so you will be responsible for the entire year group, planningyour lessons in line with a pre-set scheme of work.

You will need to effectively manage the classroom and ensure that lessons are full of nurture and creativity to make them as engaging as possible.


The KS1 Teacher:
For this KS1 Teacher position, you must have QTS, and extensive experience working within Key Stage 1.

You should have excellent behaviour management skills, and a nurturing personality that allows you to build a positive rapport with the pupils in your class.

This role is not suitable for ECTs, as the school cannot support inductions at this present time. It is important that you are a KS1 Teacher who can cultivate a nurturing, stimulating learning environment.

The School:
This Ofsted 'Good' school based near Central Birmingham caters for pupils in KS1 and KS2 with a mixed intake. There is an average proportion of SEND pupils on roll, who receive good levels of support. The leadership team is fantastic and will be incrediblysupportive.
