As part of the back office function within RMG, the Contractors Team handle both Contractor and Property Manager queries across a variety of systems, to assist with ensuring developments and suppliers are compliant.


The contractor analyst will take all relevant actions and respond to all enquires, both verbal and written, in an accurate and timely manner in accordance with RMG policy and procedures.


Roles and Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

  • Receive, understand and assess supplier's general enquiries to establish requirements for advice, guidance and service/solutions
  • Setting up approved suppliers with all required documentation and maintaining their records to keep all policy's and certificates up to date.
  • Receive, understand and assess internal general enquiries to establish requirements for advice, guidance and service/solutions.
  • Ensure all compliance requirements are met when updating our records
  • Maintaining the contractor management system, compliance database, tender tracker and H&S tracker ensuring it is updating regularly in line with any communication received.
  • Chasing suppliers on a weekly basis for purchase order and quotation updates, and update relevant portals and trackers
  • Ensure at all times that advice and services provided are consistent with all relevant procedures, standards, behaviours and performance targets as well as maximising the level of customer satisfaction.
  • Setting up annual contracts with approved suppliers on the system and sending the documentation to the supplier
  • Assist suppliers with providing up to date account statements, and answer their invoice and payment queries
  • Tender contracts and reactive works within the set timescales with the required specification and chase for responses. Providing the results to Property Managers to make a decision.

Desirable skills and experience:


  • Able to communicate effectively, typically written, but verbal where appropriate
  • Able to receive and carry out instructions accurately
  • Able to work to deadlines
  • Understands health and safety procedures necessary for safe working
  • Working knowledge of Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Good organisational skills
