Part Time Finance Director (Portfolio FD)

Will be the lead person in Finance
9month contract
Want to bring stability to the current team
Central London office with hybrid working

- £600-£650 per day
This is an independent Digital Marketing Services agency. The finance team is going through a period of change.

They are looking for a hands-on Finance Director to sit within the group team to take responsibility for the full finance function and drive theteam forward and leading from the front.

You will be responsible for:

Day to day management of the team
Motivation and progression of staff
Directing and coaching the team
Ensuring deadlines are met and monitoring efficiency
Process improvement

The key duties include:

Review of Financial accounting and take responsibility for yearend (Dec 31st)
Improving procedures and controls
Developing systems
Business partnering with the group companies and entities
Own the relationship with auditors and tax advisors
Developing more insightful analysis for the business

About you:

You must be a Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
Highly motivated by leading a finance function driving meticulous, accurate reporting to the board
Consolidations and financial accounting experience is key
Ability to build out internal processes and manage through to implementation
Experience in growing and developing a team and is prepared to roll their sleeves up and muckin from the start
Experience of working within a marketing/advertising agency is essential
