Join our Rail team as a Lift Planner on the Core Valley Lines Project and you'll be part of our legacy.
What you'll be doing About the role**- Provide support in the planning of operations involving OTP and Civils machines for lifting.
- Provide and produce lift plans for single and tandem lift activities, check off the Lifting Operations in compliance with the Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment regulations, BB and Rail Industry Standards.
- Provide coaching and mentoring support for supervisor and senior managers required to undertake Lifting assurance duties.
- Conduct assurance surveillance and inspections to identify good practice and incidents on noncompliance and take appropriate action.
- Provide out of hours support for real time lifting operations.
- Act as regular liaison and key point of contact with suppliers to manage compliance to relevant standards and maintain a good working relationship.
- Provide the focus for technical support for incident investigations if required.
Who we're looking for What we are looking for**- Experience of planning
- Knowledge of Construction Design and Management Regulations Site Safety requirements
- Lift Planner competence
- Knowledge of the engineering safety management and risk assessment processes
- Ability to work under pressure and autonomously
- Good communication skills
