Our client, Deutsche Bank, is a global banking business with strong roots in Germany and operations in over 70 countries.

Their large but focused footprint gives them an established position in Europe plus a significant presence in the Americas and AsiaPacific.

Deutsche Bank offer their clients commercial and investment banking, retail banking and transaction banking as well as ground-breaking asset and wealth management products and services.

On behalf of Deutsche Bank, AMS are now looking for a Risk & Control Analyst to work in their Framework & Controls team based in London on a PAYE basis.

The role is hybrid with 2 days per week in the office.

Business Messaging Implementation - Framework and Refinement. Deployment of approved communication channels to employees for business-related messaging.


Overview:
This is a unique opportunity to help establish risk management operating model on a high-profile global initiative. This role will be assisting to review and improve the framework, governance, and associated controls.


Key responsibilities:


  • Participate in working groups, which are global and across all business/functions, to develop key controls in line with the defined Minimum Control Standards
  • To help project manage the controls workstream from the development of the controls, their review and approval and the process to upload these into the control inventory, including all required governance forums.
  • Provide constructive review and challenge throughout
  • Provide RAID log management; the capture, mitigation, and resolution of key risks & Issues and support monitoring team actions for the Control and BAU Governance workstreams.
  • Help maintain principles, policies and governance processes, to enable identification, management, reporting and mitigation of risks related to the project.

Skills and Qualifications:


  • Experience in Financial Services
  • An understanding of Non-Financial Risk Management principles and practices
  • Experience with implementing a risk management framework specifically design, development, enhancement, implementation, oversight and assurance
  • Demonstrable experience in a business, risk management or other relevant control function, ideally at a global financial institution or other relevant peer
  • Knowledge of Records Management risk ensuring the bank is effectively governing records through their lifecycle including legal and regulatory compliant management of records
  • Advantageous but not essential
