HR Assistant - Ninestiles, An Academy


Ninestiles, An Academy is currently recruiting for a HR Assistant, to begin immediately the role is to cover maternity leave.

The school based in the heart of Birmingham cares deeply for the education, safety, and the personal development of all its students.

The staff work relentlessly to make sure that students have the highest aspirations and are motivated to flourish and succeedin everything they do.

Some of the day to day duties will include; management of staff attendance including cover for absences, co-ordination of the school's leave of absence scheme, management of all the recruitment process and ensuring completion of the school workforce census,termly.


  • Experience of working in HR, preferably in a school environment
  • Possess strong knowledge of HR best practice, processes, and employment law.
  • Be able to demonstrate expertise of employee relations and HR processes including recruitment training, induction, employment contracts etc.
  • CIPD qualification is desirable.
  • Have strong communication and interpersonal skills and be able to influence, motivate and negotiate with other stakeholders.
  • Be confident, flexible and a strong team player
  • Good ICT skills and strong administrative and organisational skills
  • Understand the importance of confidentiality and discretion
  • Calm and professional under pressure
  • Have an enhanced child workforce DBS on the update service, or be willing to pay £38 for a new check to be done.
