SEN)? Do you have the dedication to support pupils with their education and foster an inclusive learning environment? If you answered yes, we would love you to join our team of existing Teaching Assistants at LTS Group.


You will be working to support students with SEND on a 1:1 basis both in and out of the classroom setting.

The position is FULL TIME (Monday - Friday 8.30am - 3.30pm). Part time is not an option on this occasion.

The role is a full time temporary position with the possibility of a full time contract after proven performance. You must be available from 8.30am until 3.30pm Monday to Friday during term time.

  • Be on hand to support you throughout your assignment
  • Offer inhouse training and guidance specific to the child you are working with
  • Pay an excellent rate of pay within the sector

The Role

  • You will support the child on a 1:1 basis both in and out of the classroom setting.
  • Assist with all work set and help in areas of specific weakness
  • Develop appropriate resources to motivate and encourage
  • Provide continuous positive reinforcement and praise
  • Understand and attend to the the pupil's needs and assist in developing strategies to manage these
  • Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO and parents to ensure the pupil progresses in their learning
  • You may be expected to administer personal care.

Key Skills Required

  • Evidence of working with children with SEND
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to form positive relationships with children and adults
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable in order to meet the needs of the child
  • Have a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the child's welfare


If you have been a UK resident for less than 5 years, a right to work visa must be provided and a criminal background check must also be provided for any country you have resided in for 6 months or more within the last 5 years.

Salary:
£85.00-£100.00 per day
