A widely recognised firm, known for their exceptional quality of work, is looking to appoint a RTA personal injury motor claims handler to join and support their defendant personal injury team in Leeds.

The role would suit a paralegal or claims handler with a minimum of 12 months' motor claims RTA personal injury experience, who is keen to progress their career within a leading international law firm.


As a motor claims handler, you will negotiate claims for liability and damages on pre litigation cases, whilst maintaining and developing technical knowledge.

You will ensure strategies reflect commercial reality of case value and comply with internal and external service level agreements.

There will also be a need for you to support marketing and business development activity within the team which include attending marketing events, client training, etc.

Your workload will include defending motor claims personal injury cases brought against the firms retail and consumer client base.

You will deal with cases from the point of instruction through to settlement, reviewing witness statements, medical reports, negotiating settlement and liaising with clients and third parties throughout the process.


To be considered for this role you must have a law degree or equivalent and have previous experience and knowledge of dealing with personal injury.
