Job Title:
Press Brake Operator/Guillotine Operator

Location:
South Kirkby

Rate of pay:
£14.20 to £16.38 per hour (Dependent on experience)

Working hours:
Monday - Thursday 7am - 4pm

Friday 7am - 1pm

Responsibilities:

Set up and operate press brake machine/guilltone to bend, form, and shape metal sheets according to specifications
Select appropriate tooling and adjust machine settings for each job
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders
Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area

Skills:

Proficiency in working with sheet metal and understanding its properties
Ability to use hand tools effectively for measuring, cutting, and shaping materials
Basic mathematical skills for calculating measurements and angles
Knowledge of welding techniques for joining metal components

Job Types:
Full-time, Temp to perm

Salary:
£14.20-£16.38 per hour
