LHH are delighted to be working with one of our West Sussex based clients on this part-time People Advisor role.

This role is working 3 days a week; 1 day in Crowborough, 1 day in East Grinstead and 1 day WFH.

The salary is up to £33,000 FTE.

Reporting to the Head of People and Payroll, the People Advisor will be responsible for providing thorough and practical HR advice and support to managers and employees in line with organisational policies, procedures and legal requirement.


Main responsibilities:

  • To support the Head of People and Payroll in the delivery of the Strategy/Business Plan, in order to meet the organisational goals and objectives
  • To partner with your assigned Business unit to provide strategic HR advice and coach managers
  • To manage and produce documentation relating to ER matters including employee changes, performance, maternity and absence management
  • To provide confidential and timely advice and support to managers and colleagues on HR and ER queries
  • To work closely with the wider HR team to contribute in the delivery of the HR business plan

What we are looking for:

  • CIPD qualified or relevant experience
  • Experience of working within an HR team
  • Experience of employee relations processes, e.g. Sickness absence, disciplinary, performance issues
  • Able to work in confidence and with discretion
