Support Worker opportunity in Whitegate, Cheshire for bank team


Gray Healthcare has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Support Worker to join their team in Whitegate, supporting a lady with a mild learning disability, Autism, Pervasive Developmental Disorder and ADHD.

The person supported has a great sense of humour, loves chatting and spending time with people.

She especially enjoys shopping, particularly to charity shops and car boot sales as well as making things, arts and crafts, colouring and framing photos.


The support is provided in a bungalow in Whitegate Village, Cheshire and the team is 2-to-1 support by a mixed team of both male and female Support Workers.

The vacancy is for 12-hour bank shifts which allows for flexibility in working pattern.

You will not have any set working hours and will be called with available shifts to cover sickness and annual leave.


We are looking for experienced Support Workers for this team who have a
manual driving license to drive the mobility vehicle.


You will have an interest, motivation and enthusiasm to develop experience and skills to work with people with complex needs.

Ideally you will have at least Level 3 in Health and Social Care or a willingness to work towards the qualification within GrayHealthcare.

You will be able to manage difficult situations calmly and work within agreed evidence based PBS plans. You be able to complete good quality support records, detailing the activities of daily living. You will need to be resilient, emotionally, and physicallyfit to do this role.
