Senior finance leadership position, leading all FP&A activity. Great opportunity to get in to a PE-backed company, with succession planning to CFO.


Client Details
Page Executive are supporting this private equity backed consumer goods business to recruit a Head of FP&A.

The organisation, based near Birmingham, has a strong footing in their market and are now backed to grow market share further through acquisitionand organically via key strategic initiatives.


This is an exciting time to be joining the business and this position will be instrumental in supporting the business to achieve it's strategic goals.

Working closely with the CFO, this role will also form a succession plan for the number one role.


Description
Reporting into the CFO and managing a small team, responsibilities will include:

  • Working closely with stakeholders from across the business to help interpret financial data and gather information impacting financial reporting
  • Financial modelling of costs and profitability analysis
  • Overseeing and improving the forecasting and budgeting process
  • Cash flow reporting and forecasting
  • Management reporting including tracking KPIs
  • Variance analysis between budget and actuals
  • Involvement in improving processes and ensuring appropriate controls are in place
  • Analysis of the key drivers influencing finance outcomes
  • Daily drawdown requests and liaising with our lenders
  • Overseeing daily liquidity reports
  • Working closely with other departments of the finance team such as accounts receivable and payable to deliver accurate reporting
  • Support ad hoc projects or activities as required
  • Assisting with the implementation of new systems

Profile

  • An accounting qualification e.g. ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a controlling or finance business partnering role
  • Experience in a fastpaced environment
  • Previous experience of people management
  • Commitment to continuously improve and optimise processes
  • Strong business partnering skills; the ability to provide strategic, analytical and operational support
  • Commercial flair and acumen
  • Excellent communication skills to be able to interpret financial information to others outside of finance
  • Experience of working in a similar size business, ideally with numerous sites

Job Offer
Excellent salary and benefits package, in the range of £90,000 - £110,000 + benefits
