UE05 £25,742 to £29,605 Per Annum (A revised salary range for this grade of £27,979 to £32,332 is planned to take effect from April 2024).

University Secretary's Group, Registry Services, Student Support Operations.

Open Ended Contract - Permanent.

Full Time - 35 Hours Per Week.
We are looking for a self-starter to join Scholarships and Student Funding. You will be detail oriented, curious and independent.

You will be an important figure in our team, the Finance Operations and Accounts Payable teams, and with external stakeholders.

A passion for delivering excellent customer service is crucial.


The Opportunity:


This position requires a confident and calm individual with a proven ability to communicate, and who possesses excellent problem-solving skills.

You will be work as part of a team and you will be required to work independently as well.

You will have some autonomy to shape your role within the remit of the team and boundaries of the requirements of the role.


Within this role the post holder will:
Prepare documentation to support regular and emergency payments to students ensuring appropriate approvals are in place. For this you need to have a high level of accuracy and good organisation and administration skills.


Be able to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to respond promptly to inquiries and investigate payment issues that arise.


Be proficient in Excel, Access, SharePoint, and Word to provide reports on Key Performance Indicators and to answer FOI requests.

Support planning, reconciliation and audit activity.
