Position Overview


The position is a challenging multi-tasking role which involves dedicated responsibility for a number of sales-related processes as well as being able to provide extra support to other team members on a daily basis.


Purpose of this position


To ensure that customers receive a fast and efficient response to sales enquiries, building customer loyalty and enhancing the company's reputation of WOW service.

Skills/Attributes Required

  • Accurate keyboarding skills
  • Ability to perform well across different sales support tasks
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure
  • Ability to integrate with other departments
  • Ability to build rapport with customers
  • Ability to work to deadlines

Education/Experience Required

  • Knowledge of Sage 200 preferrable
  • Reasonable level of computer skills
  • Positive/Enthusastic attitude and aptitude to customers

Key Performance Objectives

  • Work towards achieving and exceeding the organisation's annual and monthly sales and margin targets
  • Liaise with customers, suppliers and others internal departments within the company in order to progress orders in the most efficient manner.
  • Fully understand the company's sales objectives and business aims in order to promote and encourage customers to increase their business
  • Build positive working relationships with all stakeholders
  • Continuously increase personal knowledge of products, processes, sales and people skills and encourage these attributes in others

Producing customer quotations to support the Internal Account Executives

Creating customer documents, including order forms, risk assessments, ring binders

To manage equipment process for floor cleaning equipment repair

Managing dosing equipment repairs, logging on smart sheet, and following up with engineers.

CRM Updating and Maintenance

Daily

Answer incoming calls and handle as appropriate.

Demonstrate a proactive telephone response, product and price list knowledge along with a helpful and welcoming approach to customers.

Processing of Sales Orders/Returns for customers and maintain order processing deadlines

To handle enquiries via live chat facility

Carry our duties of colleagues

As Required

Proactively call key customers when they have received consumable/nursing orders to ensure highest level of service is being given.
