Description

The Mental Health Recovery Service are looking for a motivated team player to join our friendly and welcoming team in providing supported housing for adults with mental health needs.


  • You will be able to demonstrate an understanding of Mental Illhealth and how it can affect people.
  • You will support customers overnight by providing a listening ear and support to connect to their coping strategies.
  • You will work collaboratively with partners within the NHS and private sector agencies.
  • You will assist your daytime colleagues by fulfilling routine administrative duties to support the effective running of the service.
  • Shifts are worked on a rota basis covering (24/7 service 365 days a year )and flexibility is essential to meet the needs of the service.
  • We offer bespoke training designed for the needs of the service.
  • We offer regular supervision with a focus on wellbeing and improvement.
  • Good communication skills and an understanding of using IT are required.

As this role is public facing, applicants will need to demonstrate, at interview, their competency to converse and provide advice and guidance to members of the public, in spoken English to CEFR level C2: Can express him/herself spontaneously at length with a natural conversational flow, avoiding or backtracking around any difficulty so smoothly that the person with whom they are conversing is hardly aware of it.
