IT Service Director

£85-110k + bonus + benefits

Newcastle-upon-Tyne, North-East


This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced IT Service Director to join the journey at this successful technology services business in Newcastle-upon-Tyne.

You will be responsible for ensuring the service desk runs smoothly and efficiently by introducingprocesses and procedures, as well as maintaining staff motivation and buy-in.

You will also be responsible for the ticketing system and other ITSM tools, as well as being involved in tech strategy and customer-facing work.


This role would suit someone who has overseen technical and service transformations and can take a large team on a journey of change.


Requirements:


  • Experience in a senior technical leadership role
  • Strong people management skills
  • Ability to run a large IT service desk
  • ITIL experience
  • Experience of process change and transformation
  • Excellent knowledge of ITSM tools, especially ServiceNow
  • Ability to influence and motivate staff
  • Strong decisionmaking skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Love for a challenge
  • Honesty and integrity
