Description
We're looking for a Supervisor to join our Telecoms Team based in Glasgow, Scotland.

Within this role, you can enjoy the use of a company van to cover business miles, 26 days annual leave plus bank holidays, progression opportunities and even more.

Contract:
Permanent, 45 hours per week


Salary:
up to £36,000 per annum (depending on experience)


Responsibilities


As a Supervisor, you'll be working within the Virgin Media Team reporting to the Project Managers, supporting them to ensure that all Client orders are delivered to time, in a safe and compliant manner and to ensure all contractual processes, procedures and quality standards are met.


Your day to day will include:

  • Ensuring the relevant Health and Safety standards are followed and achieved, and that work sites comply with all current legislation whilst delivering a high standard of work.
  • Coordinating, supervising and auditing the crews (both direct labour and subcontractor) across both Virgin Media and OpenReach workstreams, ensuring the correct paperwork is maintained and submitted in a timely manner.
  • Work alongside the Project Manager and Coordinators to manage all outstanding defects and to liaise with the Highways Authority's regarding defect notifications and coordination of repair work.

Who are we looking for?
This role of Supervisor is great for you if:

  • You hold a Driving Licence and NRSWA Supervisor ticket with Supervision experience.
  • You have experience of managing defects and interims and have a knowledge of road types and materials
  • You are familiar and knowledgeable of Virgin Media and or OpenReach telecoms networks.
