The Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead Revenues and Benefits Service is committed to providing high quality services to all of its residents.
- The postholder should be able to provide effective, visible leadership and to efficiently manage all aspects of the team of specialist staff who cover the assessment of Housing Benefit/Council Tax Support/Discretionary Housing Payments and Financial Inclusion as well as the invoicing of Adult Social Care charges.
- Ideally holding an IRRV qualification you should have an excellent knowledge of all aspects of Housing Benefits/Council Tax Support/Welfare Benefits legislation, including subsidy, and be able to provide advice and guidance to staff in connection with the detail of the authority's Adult Social Care charging policies.
- While based in the Town Hall in Maidenhead, RBWM offers a hybrid working model and will consider applicants who work from home.
