Purchasing/Buying Administrator

Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 5.30pm

£25,000

Crawley

Full time, permanent
A well-established business in Crawley, is looking for a Purchasing/Buying Administrator to join their small and friendly team.

This role will see you working as a key member of the Purchasing Team


Main responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring stock levels are maintained at suitable levels throughout the year
  • Raising purchase orders
  • Developing relationships with suppliers
  • Analysing trends using company data and IT systems to make purchasing decisions
  • Working with freight companies to achieve timely and costeffective deliveries
  • Working with the internal sales team to ensure customer requirements are met
  • Maintaining the company systems to ensure accurate information is available for all departments to use
  • General purchasing admin as required


This role would suit someone with good all round administration skills, who is confident in making reasonable decisions and can manage and prioritise their workload.


The ability to communicate effectively and build relationships is key as you will be liaising with suppliers, freight partners and internal teams on a regular basis.

Experience in working in supply chain or purchasing related roles is an advantage althoughfull training will be given.
