Project Coordinator - £35,000-£41,000 + Private Medical + 33 Days holiday + Early Finish Fridays + Market Leader + Benefits

The Company
Our client are a market leading manufacturer who operate on a global basis. Due to continued expansion they have an excellent opportunity to join their business as a Prroject Coordinator.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing business, working in an ever changing environment on multiple projects.


The Role


The Project Coordinator will focus on the delivery of a variety of projects including, but not limited to new product and process implementation, reverse engineering and the introduction of new business.


As the Project Coordinator you will work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure ongoing and future projects are delivered on time and within budget.


Main duties include:

  • Developing and maintaining clear plans and schedules for multiple projects, ensuring on time delivery
  • Working within the agreed budget, managing and controlling costs accordingly
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships
  • Managing, reporting and presenting on project performance to stakeholders
  • Identifying and implementing opportunities for improvement throughout the project
  • Working collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders to drive progress
  • Own and operate according to our internal project management process, refining as appropriate
  • Challenging stakeholders & project members, ensuring progress is not delayed unduly
  • Demonstrate compliance of project management processes during third party audits
  • Development and maintenance of project KPIs
  • Escalation of issues impacting delivery
  • Management of third party systems for funded projects

What We Are Looking For
The Project Coordinator will ideally have experience within a fast paced manufacturing environment.

You should have the following skills/experience:

  • Experience of working in manufacturing/engineering organisation
  • Knowledge of funding bodies (Innovate UK, KTP, European Commission, etc.) and their mechanisms for project management would be advantageous
  • Demonstrable experience of managing complex projects
  • Competent with Microsoft Office, with experience of MS Project


  • Accredited project manager

  • Prince2 or similar (desirable)
  • Prior knowledge of the rail industry would be advantageous but not essential
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate confidently
  • Organised & detail orientated

The Project Coordinator will receive a competitive basic salary of £35,000-£41,000 (DOE) plus the opportunity to join a hugely successful & growing business.
