DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES |
About the role
We are looking for a engaging and outgoing Internal Product Sales Specialist to provide support for our growing Nutanix, Guardicor and Rubrik business, whilst providing internal administration support for the external sales team.
As the Internal Product Sales Specialist you will have extremely strong administration skills and attention to detail, with an understanding of IT distribution.
As the Internal Product Sales Specialist, you will:
- Provide a high level of customer service, acting independently of Account Managers to ensure day to day quote and order activity follow the Vendors Partner Programme, Deal Reg and other processes fairly.
- Manage the Price List process including ownership of part codes and currency changes,
- Gathering and present data for Netsuite uploads, end of sale notifications and pricelist publication.
- Understand your vendors messaging by taking online sales accreditations.
- Educate internal teams on all pricing and quoting matters.
- Create and check quotes ensuring complete accuracy and ensuring profitability across the franchise.
- Work with Sales and Resellers to manage the sales pipeline and create regular forecasts
- Work with internal and external Sales and Technical teams to efficiently manage opportunities and promote our value added services.
- Qualify potential new Resellers and provide initial details before aligning the lead to external sales.
- Manage the Vendors Ordering and Renewals process.
- Provide support to Operations and Vendor order management teams to resolve issues with orders and deliveries.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE |
About you
The ideal Internal Product Sales Specialist will:
- Have a strong Sales Administration and Quoting background ideally within IT distribution
- Be customer service driven, responsive and efficient
- Have a positive and outgoing personality with excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Have a strong business acumen and be commercially aware
- Be process driven with keen attention to detail
- Be keen to develop and to learn new products and processes quickly
- Have knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel & Word)
- Have the ability to problem solve, identifying a client's needs and respond accordingly
- Be able to work independently to achieve business goals
