Reed HR are partnered with a growing financial services company in Crawley, West Sussex who are seeking an
HR Administratorto join their team.


The purpose of the role is to provide effective, on time administrative support to the HR team, specifically the HR Business Partners as well as acting as the first point of contact for HR-related queries from employees, line managers and external partners.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Updating employee records, ensuring data accuracy and data integrity
  • Advising managers and employees to use selfservice functionality
  • Running reports, often for HR Business Partners, and feeding into HR management information
  • Preparing, checking and sending out documentation including offers of employment, contractual changes, leavers
  • Completing the referencing and checking procedures for new starters, including the new starter and periodic checks under the Fit & Proper regulations
  • Responding to reference requests, for leavers as well as mortgage or rent references for current employees
  • Maintaining and updating accurate process maps and procedures for a range of processes, including onboarding, maternity, end of probation, leavers, contractual changes
  • Ensuring all relevant data is sent to payroll within deadlines
  • Updating documents such as the organisation chart
  • Acting as the first point of contact for employees and line managers, guiding and advising on policies, processes and procedures, through selfservice where appropriate, escalating to the relevant HRBP
  • Assisting with bulk processes including salary reviews and performance appraisals

Skills and Experience:


  • CIPD level 3 or willing to work towards
  • HR or recruitment administration experience
  • HR systems experience
  • Experience of maintaining confidential information
  • Excellent Word, PowerPoint, Outlook skills and intermediate Excel skills
  • Experience of working with volume of tasks, juggling priorities whilst remaining calm under pressure
  • Previous HR or recruitment experience in a financial services or similar sector
  • Working with data and databases
  • Sage People experience Desirable
