Express Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a market leader who are one of the fastest growing businesses in Nottingham, on their way to achieving all their profit goals for the year.

In the next phase of growth, they require a 2nd Line ITSupport Specialist to join their team to provide exceptional IT support solutions.


In return, you can expect to receive a salary of up to c£30,000, plus other employee benefits including 25 days holiday + stats, a bonus scheme, health and wellbeing scheme, flexible working, and enhanced family leave.


Roles & Responsibilities:


  • Report directly to the Service Desk Manager to carry out daily onsite services and assist with various side projects
  • Support with onsite hardware/software installations, upgrades and troubleshooting
  • Set up new user accounts and action data recovery backups when required
  • Learn how to maintain and administer SalesForce CRM system, ensuring up to date information is documented correctly
  • Work extensively with DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, switches, routers etc.
  • Liaise to site wide department leads and deal with technical and nontechnical queries
  • Maintain and upgrade on site Windows servers

Skills & Experience

  • Experience working in a similar IT support role essential
  • Fully proficient across typical 2nd line IT issues
  • Solid understanding of hardware/software installations
  • Proven handson experience of networking tools and infrastructure such as DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, Cisco etc.
  • Knowledge of SalesForce CRM system advantageous but not essential
  • Ability to communicate on a technical and nontechnical level
  • Up to date knowledge and awareness of Data Protection and Information Security standards (
