Classification Specialist - German Speaker

Overview

Our client, a multi-national e-commerce platform, is seeking a highly motivated and passionate individual to join their Taxonomy Team as a Structured Data Configuration Specialist.

This role will support global research initiatives to define metadata andstructure their extensive inventory within the motor parts side of the business.

Richmond, London

Salary:
£177 per day Inside IR35

Contract Length: 12 Months

Responsibilities:

Analyse site metrics and user behaviour data to inform design decisions.
Research Home & Garden specific products and market trends to identify standard and nonstandard ways of defining products.
Collaborate with global counterparts on taxonomy designs.
Define and document global metadata standards.
Work with Taxonomy Managers to maintain the category change roadmap.
Understand selling flows and how data collected there translates to frontend user experiences.
Contribute to process optimization.
Identify, develop, and implement routines for ongoing data quality assurance.
Localize metadata for various markets, depending on language expertise.

Requirements:

German native speaker (fluent to native level) with proficiency in English.
Minimum: Bachelor's degree from a University or equivalent experience, with strong qualitative and quantitative analysis skills.
23 years of business experience preferred, but willing to consider graduates.
Highly analytical, organized, and detailoriented.
Strong databased decisionmaking ability.
Proficient in MS Office suite, specifically Excel.
Knowledge of cloudbased work services such as G Suite is a plus.
Knowledge of bugtracking system JIRA and/or agile framework is a plus.
Strong customer focus.
