Relevant legislative and or procedural knowledge for specialist area.

Immediate resource required to support key Housing Transformation Programme works and fulfil associated support admin function.

The Housing Service at London Borough of Waltham Forest is looking for an experienced admin officer to provide a professional, proactive, customer focussed service to all customers of the Housing Service, both internal and external, and lead on processesand systems to ensure improved outcomes for residents contacting the Housing Service for support.

The role will predominantly involve managing the Housing Service enquiry inbox to ensure casework is sensitively and effectively managed, triaged and processed within agreed turnaround times.

In addition, the postholder will provide dedicated meeting supportto the Housing Senior Leadership Team and wider Housing Transformation Programme team to ensure key meetings are arranged and supported and diaries effectively managed in line with agreed working principles.

You will also ensure visitors to the housing service are welcomed and feel comfortable and in doing so maintain the reputation and professionalism of the service.

To succeed in this role, you will be able to demonstrate strong administrative skills and be highly organised with the ability to multi-task and be flexible to respond to service delivery requirements.

You will also have excellent communication skills, be able to build relationships and be passionate about customer service with a goal-oriented focus.
