The Milner Therapeutics Institute (MTI) is seeking to recruit a motivated Administrative & Personal Assistant to support the MTI Operations team in the smooth running of our growing institute.

This varied and interesting role offers opportunities to develop secretarial, administrative & Human Resources (HR) skills.


The Administration & Personal Assistant will join a friendly team based on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus, in an institute that provides a unique working environment, with start-up businesses, academics and pharma companies working side by side across shared office and laboratory space.

The role holder will work closely with, and report to, the Human Resources (HR) & Administration Coordinator, to deliver effective and efficient administrative & secretarial support.

They will be the first point of contact for queries and greeting visitors and will learn elements of HR to provide support with recruitment and HR-Related administration.


The Administrative & Personal Assistant will assist the Business Operations Manager to ensure smooth running of collaborative research activities, such as Milner Therapeutics board meetings, and will provide PA support to the Executive Director, including diary management, scheduling meetings, booking meeting rooms and ordering refreshments.

Interviews will be held on Friday 10th or Monday 13th March.

Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available for 3 years in the first instance.
