Right now, the charity are recruiting for a Group Programme Coordinator (Stronger Families) to join them.

You will lead on the delivery of therapeutic group work programmes in the city and south of the county to support the social and emotional wellbeingof women and their children.


This is a part time (30 hrs per week) fixed term contract until March 2025 and offers a salary of £28,339 pro rata.


Here in the UK 1 in 3 women will experience domestic abuse in their lifetime and this charity supports those women and children in Nottingham experiencing or escaping it.


They are an ambitious and resourceful charity, passionate about helping women and their children move forward to live their lives free from abuse.

In a year, they answer around 10,000 calls on their helpline, support over 6,000 women and 260 children.


The role:


As a Group Programme Coordinator (Stronger Families), you will deliver therapeutic group work programmes through training and coordinating contributions from staff of other agencies involved with women and children.

The Stronger Families programme worksby helping mothers to effectively parent their children to improve their wellbeing and sustain their mutual recovery from their experiences.

You will coordinate referrals to the programme and organise and support the delivery of the groups.


The charity would be particularly interested in hearing from you if you have experience of working in crisis situations, managing safeguarding ad complex cases and experience of working with vulnerable children and/or adults along with a good understandingof project management, quality assurance and contract compliance issues, processes and systems.


An enhanced DBS along with a full UK driving licence with access to your own vehicle which is insured for business use is essential for this role.
