Our Client
Our client provides technology focused solutions to businesses right across the UK. From hardware, networking, security and wrap around services.

As a result of continued growth they are looking to add a key person into their sales team to support theirexisting customers in the teleco, hyperscaler, cloud service provider space.


The Role


You'll be working within a team of Account Managers, essentially supporting a set of customers across a variety of vertical market places.


  • You will be enrolled into their indepth training programme including induction into the company, the industry they operate in and the products and services they sell
  • You will be responsible for quote management and administration for a portfolio of key customers; working in conjunction with the Sales team to ensure all quotes are effectively raised and orders placed
  • Handling any queries relating to the fulfilment of customer orders
  • Delivering against predefined customer service level agreements
  • Responsibility for customer backlog reports; lead times; delivery performance; sales order creation; customer information provision; customer service, relationship building; reporting
  • Identifying process improvements that improve business efficiency and profitability
  • Raising quotations for direct business and ensuring pricing consistency for Indirect Contractor channels working on these projects
  • Managing all aspects of order entry/maintenance/scheduling/backorder management
  • Work with support functions to enable customer onboarding
  • Working within a dynamic project team and looking after all aspects of project delivery
  • Work with inventory team to manage a pipeline/forecast of sites/materials
  • Liaise with the local sales teams to ensure the smooth running of projects and ongoing Global Account business

Your Background
We are looking for someone with ideally 2 years' experience within an Account Management focused role or Sales Support role with another technology-based business

  • Results & quality driven with a sense of urgency.
  • Ability to understand and operate in a complex sales environment.
  • Previous experience with complex account management is desirable.
  • Excellent information management and communication skills; able to reason, negotiate and present effectively
  • Basic product knowledge of key product portfolio (Networking, Security & Access Control)
  • Second language desirable but not mandatory
  • Good decision making processes and skills
  • High attention to detail and able to prioritise effectively
  • Good knowledge of Word, Excel PowerPoint & Teams
  • Positive attitude, dynamic, eager to learn and ambitious
  • Well structured and organised with good planning skills
  • Ability to cope well under pressure
  • Enthusiastic and confident nature
