Team


The Planning and Integration Team supports ShareAction's leadership and staff to deliver against our strategic goals, by developing our strategy, facilitating timely, evidence-based decision-making, planning our work and monitoring our impact.


Position:


The Executive Assistant is a critical role for ShareAction, providing both personal assistance to our busy CEO and Deputy CEO, and executive support to our Leadership Team.

The post-holder is also a key member of the Planning and Integration Team, ensuring strong alignment between Leadership Team business and strategic planning; and leading on the management of all-staff events and internal leadership communication.


What you'll do _(key responsibilities)_

  • Supporting the CEO with strategic time and diary management, lighttouch inbox management, administration and efficient communication flows, ensuring they have everything the need to represent ShareAction externally and take key leadership decisions.
  • Preparing for and managing Leadership Team meetings, enabling robust and timely decisionmaking through forward planning, agenda management and action accountability.
  • Project managing allstaff events and other adhoc projects as required, facilitating crossorganisational input.
  • Ensuring a strong twoway flow of information between the leadership team and the wider organisation.

Requirements:


What you'll bring to the team

  • You'll have strong previous experience of providing executive support to senior leaders, with excellent technical capabilities.
  • You'll have high standards of personal integrity, be highly organised and great at working with and influencing a wide range of people.
  • You will need to be able to manage your own time, problemsolve and adjust to changes of plan, and move comfortably from operational to strategic issues and back.

Salary:
£41,460 - £44,694 + 8% pension contribution

Ideally on or before 9 September 2024

Please note that as part of the induction process, you will be expected to attend the London office in person during your first week in post, to cover items including Health & Safety, IT set-up, Office Orientation and Team member introductions.


You will also need to be able to attend the office on a flexible basis, according to need, and at least once a week to align with meeting schedules.

ShareAction's London office is based in vibrant Aldgate and a short walk from Aldgate East underground.

Remote working will remain the norm for many ShareAction staff, with office space available as described in London for those who wish to use it.
