The Role:


  • We have a fantastic opportunity for an Executive Officer to join the Executive Office

Key accountabilities will include:

  • To review, examine and analyse reports, and to create briefing documents, if necessary, suitable for an audience comprising of leadership and trustee roles.

Liaise and work with all Nugent departments to support the delivery of Deputy Chief Executive and Chief Governance Officer objectives, including revision to policies and guidance.

Attend meetings, in person or via teleconferencing, as necessary, to support or represent the Deputy Chief Executive and Chief Governance Officer as directed.

To undertake task and finish projects as required by the Deputy Chief Executive and Chief Governance Officer, in order to identify, and resolve, if necessary, areas of Business Support that require additional support.

To support the Deputy Chief Executive and Chief Governance Officer in all aspects of their role, in order to achieve Nugent's wider objectives in all areas of business that it operates.


The Successful Applicant:


  • Proven experience of operating in a managerial/supervisory role.
Strong experience and understanding of all areas of governance, including policies, processes, risk management and implementing change.

Experience of drafting documentation, written reports, data reports, and analysis of such documents and reports, in order to ensure information is shared in a clear, concise and accurate manner.

An understanding of Nugent and its overall objectives, awareness of the individuals that they care for.

  • Experience of communicating and negotiating with individuals at all levels of an organisation, particularly those at Trustee/Executive/Senior levels.

Previous experience of providing a flexible approach to the needs of the organisation, including supporting others outside of their area of responsibility and working hours.
