The Peculiar Designer is looking for someone with an extreme desire working within luxury interior design in our Huddersfield Studio.


The studio includes an infusion of luxury têxtiles and powerful 3D computer, making sure real life 3D visuals can be presented to our clients.

The studio stands out for its use of colour and its eclecticism.

The role is currently Full-Time.

Your role

You will play a central part in this fast-paced studio that requires initiative and versatility.

You will assist with all areas of the studio as well as coordinate the procurement of furnishings for a range of projects and retail customers.


The key responsibilities are:

  • Managing the Social Media account and liaising with the senior designers
  • Setting up and maintaining excellent presentation of the studio, display fabrics and samples library
  • Assisting with InDesign presentations and Photoshop visualisations
  • Messaging and calling potential clients
  • Assisting in the creation of quotations and sales orders
  • Unpacking and inspection of goods delivered to the studio
  • To assist with social media content creating
  • Laise with amazing clients
  • Driving the company car to and from required visits
The role will be to report to the Lead Interior Designer.


Skills required:

  • Ability to work with others and independently with your own initiative
  • Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English
  • Proficiency in AutoCad and Adobe Suite essential but not required
  • Hand sketching very advantageous
  • Have a clean driving license
  • Excellent presentation skills, organisation and time management
  • Salary is dependent on experience
