Roles & Responsibilities
- Creating value for business by bring its data together and automating its information value chain. Gain transparency, reduce risk and speed up time to market.
- Work on the Client Reporting project develop an understand data set requirements for clients, and industry best practices.
- Generate client reports and answer adhoc queries.
- Accurate Data maintenance and creation.
- Working closely with other internal teams to ensure timeliness and integrity.
- Establish all touch points both internally and externally who needs what.
- The objective of the desk to maintain and provide accurate information for all consumers.
- Interacting with the Sales and Client Service teams to understand the information needs of their clients.
- In terms of soft skills, attention to detail and enthusiasm for improving processes.
- Work with internal client relationships and ensure an ongoing high level of client service.
- Ensure the firms fund data is correctly represented on external platforms. Ensure reporting deadlines are met and ensure a prompt turnaround of queries.
- Control large data sets/create custom templates. Use initiative to identify ways for internal clients to efficiently and directly access client reporting data.
Background & Experience
- The core skill/ knowledge would be an understanding of a Client Reporting and Performance function within an Asset Management firm.
- Strong system skills would be a distinct advantage but are not a prerequisite: Basic SQL, Advanced Excel, basic Python (Pandas/Numpy library familiarity).
- Develop an understanding of regulatory knowledge as it applies to this role.
- Develop an understanding of the rules, regulations, policies and procedures as set out in the Compliance Manual.
- Must be able to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
- Analytical skills, with the ability to present detailed analysis in a clear and concise manner.
- Communicate (orally and written) across the organisation.
- Ability to influence proactively and build strong working relationships with internal clients.
- High degree of organisation and numeracy, with attention to detail, the ability to use initiative and think laterally.
- Enthusiastic, with the ability to work through issues to create solutions and a strong attention to detail.
