About the role:

We have an exciting new position for an experienced facilities manager to lead our Accommodation, ResLife, Conference and Events teams, managing the continuing development of the teams in close partnership with the Head of Campus Services Operations and in line with the broader divisional strategy.


You will be responsible for ensuring professional delivery and development of services relating to revenue generation and student support and engagement, demonstrating innovation, effectiveness and positive returns.

This will include supporting students' transition into University accommodation and creating an engaged community with clear signposting to support services across the institution.

You will also be responsible for the management of the University's dedicated hotel and conference centre, as well as partnerships with accommodation providers.


About you:

As an experienced facilities manager, you should have significant vocational experience working at a management level, ideally within a similar establishment.

You will be experienced in managing successful teams and projects, alongside budget management. You should also have a keen financial awareness with strong outcome-focussed, commercially informed business judgement.


To support our continuing development, you should have demonstrable capacity to plan and implement change to service functions and management structures, and the ongoing monitoring of improvements within the service.

Previous experience implementing and delivering operational systems will also be key.
