Position
:
Accounts Receivable Co-ordinator


Location
:
Coventry, West Midlands - remote working available 3/4 days per week


Pay rate
:
£11 - £15 per hour (dependant on experience)


Hours
:
Full-Time, 9am - 5pm (37 hours per week)


Term
:
Temporary, minimum of 12 weeks


Responsibilities:


  • Monitor and process sales receipts and invoices and ensuring accuracy in all recorded transactions
  • Carry out and support a range of financial and administrative related tasks to facilitate the smooth running of the Finance department
  • Reconciliation of cash accounts and certain control accounts
  • Daily postings of receipts and invoices from bank
  • Support students with Accounts Receivable related queries
  • Support the reporting needs of management and other stakeholders (internally and externally)
  • Work closely with your Accounts Receivable colleagues to achieve monthly and ad hoc objectives
  • Assist with and carrying out Credit Control activities to improve cash flow when needed
  • Administer the enrolment of new students as well as the release of future modules
  • Other AR processes including the dispensation of student withdrawals, posting journals and performing AR ledger adjustments

Requirements:

Analytical mind-set and problem-solving ability (essential):


  • Experience undertaking Accounts Receivable / Sales Ledger responsibilities in a similar role (essential):
  • Experience in a Finance department within the education sector (desirable)
  • Experience of working within financial systems and developing processes to record financial transactions
  • Strong IT skills (intermediate level on Microsoft Excel)
  • Good written and verbal communication skills for dealing with students and peers
  • Excellent team working skills and ability to work to tight deadlines
  • The organisation and timekeeping skills to develop and maintain relevant databases, spreadsheets and filing systems to ensure uptodate information is accessible to those that require it
