Our client is a successful mid-sized specialist accountancy practice, based in Cornwall. Due to substantial recent growth, they are looking foran experienced Tax Senior to support work across various restructuring, R&D strategies, acquisitions anddisposals and technical tax reporting demands.

About the role
This role would suit an experienced accountant with an interest in tax to join a growing team.

Reporting to the Partners, the Tax Senior will have a focus on the delivery of technical tax projects, commercial insight and a variety of annual returns for clients.

Key aspects of the role include:

Managing, or supporting the partners, on the delivery of tax projects with technical excellence and a commercial approach;
Providing an excellent level of client service to new and existing clients;
Providing support for the accounts department on complex tax issues;
Preparing and reviewing complex selfassessment and corporate tax returns;
Liaising with other members of the team and business partners to provide a comprehensive service to clients;
Liaising with HMRC as required in a timely and efficient manner;
Training and developing junior members of the team.
