Description

Job Title:
Behavioral Therapist

Duties:

Conduct assessments to identify behavioural needs and develop individualized treatment plans
Implement evidencebased interventions and behaviour management techniques
Provide oneonone therapy sessions to clients, focusing on skill development and behaviour modification
Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure consistency in treatment approach
Monitor progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed
Maintain accurate and uptodate documentation of client sessions and progress
To deliver and carry out assessments, whilst supporting individuals within a crisis

Requirements:

To have a BABCP registration accreditation
To have completed a Postgraduate diploma in CBT
To have experience working with children in a mental health setting
Experience working with individuals with behavioral disorders or developmental disabilities
Knowledge of behavior analysis principles and techniques
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others
