Job Title:
Behavioral Therapist
Duties:
- Conduct assessments to identify behavioural needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Implement evidencebased interventions and behaviour management techniques
- Provide oneonone therapy sessions to clients, focusing on skill development and behaviour modification
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure consistency in treatment approach
- Monitor progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed
- Maintain accurate and uptodate documentation of client sessions and progress
- To deliver and carry out assessments, whilst supporting individuals within a crisis
Requirements:
- To have a BABCP registration accreditation
- To have completed a Postgraduate diploma in CBT
- To have experience working with children in a mental health setting
- Experience working with individuals with behavioral disorders or developmental disabilities
- Knowledge of behavior analysis principles and techniques
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others
