Description

Coach Core's vision is to drive social mobility through apprenticeships and sport, so that every young person can reach their true potential and inspire those around them.

Since our launch in 2012, we have worked with over 150 of the biggest sports providers, youth clubs and charities in the country, supporting over 500 young people.

As a result of our ongoing expansion, we are now looking to launch a brand-new programme in Essex

Day to day responsibilities:

The Community Activator Coach role is the perfect opportunity to understand the role of sport and physical activity in the Community.

The coach will learn about behaviour change to enable them to develop activities that will support each level of getting and keeping someone active.

They will learn how to actively listen and respond to community group requests for activation.

They will understand how to use effective leadership to deliver coaching sessions that are fun and engaging for the participants whilst understanding that they will become a role model and will need to display the correct behaviours.

They will understand community events; the reasons that community events take place, how to plan and deliver them successfully to meet the aims of the group.

They will learn about safeguarding, how to keep records and store information with personal details.

They will understand the importance of monitoring and evaluating using this information and how it helps with future funding or future activities.

Understand social media and the importance of getting the message right.

We particularly welcome applicants from female, black, minority, ethnic (BME) communities, disabled people and homosexual, bisexual and trans (LGBT) communities, as they are currently underrepresented within our workforce.
