The Menu Partners are looking for a
Goods-In Operative to join our team in Bicester. If you are passionate about consistently providing high quality service then this is the role for you. You will be professional and safety conscious in your outlook, with a helpful and productive attitude.

As a
Goods-In Operative some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing an efficient and courteous first point of contact for all delivery personnel and third-party couriers in line with department 'best practice'
  • Ensuring full compliance to the relevant policies and procedures set out by the company.
  • Processing paperwork accurately and efficiently in line with departmental policy and set procedures, which will allow you to identify, accurately check and sign of goods and maintain an accurate log.
  • Coordinating deliveries efficiently to the relevant departments throughout the building.
  • Liaising with other departments and suppliers you will raise discrepancies when they have been raised; as well as alerting departments upon receipt of urgent supplies or samples to ensure they are available to delivery business and customer requirements.
  • Assisting with stock check when required ensuring all stock movements are accurately recorded.
  • Ensuring the goods in/holding area is kept safe, secure, clean and organised and where applicable in line with company best practice.
  • Helping to manage waste throughout the building from the kitchen/goods in side ensuring we keep a clean and tidy site.

Skill Requirements:


  • Good organisational skills
  • Forklift licence (desirable but not essential)
  • Reliability and dependability
  • Literacy & numeracy
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the job. Manual handling
  • Selfmotivated
  • Upbeat and energised with a "can do "attitude
  • Flexible and willing take on a variety of tasks
  • Team player

Shift Patterns:

Flexibility required as some weekend work will be required.

45 hours per week (5 days out of 7).
