Pay rate:
£10.47 per hour


Contracts available:

Permanent (37.5 hours per week (peak) & 31.25 hours per week (off-peak))
& Casual (Flexible hours)

The Black Country Living Museum is seeking customer-focused Food and Drinks Assistants to join the Retail Team.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Museum's front line, where you'll be helping customers transcend into the past by creating a seamless customer service experience.


What will you be doing?

  • Providing informed, inclusive, and positive customer service.
  • Respectfully, supporting visitors with queries on our range of stock and general gift shop enquires.
  • Operating tills, taking cash/card payments, and handling payment queries in line with Museum standards.
  • Monitoring and replenishing stock as required.
  • Preparing the museum for our exciting events.
  • Maintaining the highest standard of hygiene and health & safety.

What are we looking for?

  • Respectful and confident people skills.
  • Enthusiasm and or experience in offering highlevel customer service.
  • Flexible approach to work and hours of work.
  • Confident IT Skills and or experience working with EPOS systems.
