About this role
AlphaSights is looking for an HR Intern to support our generalist HR function.
You will support the administration of HR services and will have the opportunity to get involved in various HR projects across our EMEA offices in London, Hamburg, Portugal and Dubai.
Our HR function will be an incredible learning ground for a versatile self-starter who is excited to gain exposure to all stages of the employee lifecycle, from pre-hire engagement and onboarding to performance management and offboarding.
We are looking for an individual who is reliable, enthusiastic, proactive, with a friendly personality and who can work effectively both as part of a team and on their own initiative.
This position is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to launch a career in HR.What you'll do
- Assist in addressing daytoday HR inquiries from employees, managing the central HR inbox efficiently.
- Support the administration of employee benefits, such as private health insurance, pension plans, and corporate gym memberships.
- Collaborate with various HR teams including Talent Acquisition, Workplace Experience, Technical Operations, and Learning & Development in the onboarding and offboarding processes of employees.
- Aid in managing documentation related to employee promotions, raises, and internal transfers.
- Assist in maintaining accurate and updated employee records in the HRIS, including absence tracking, turnover rates, and headcount reporting.
- Support the maintenance of HRIS and documentation, ensuring proper organization and storage of internal employee files.
- Assist in generating adhoc reports for senior leadership and the global HR team, demonstrating initiative and a proactive attitude.
- Contribute to monthly payroll activities, including tasks such as collecting P45 forms from new hires and updating internal templates.
- Uphold strict confidentiality in handling sensitive information to foster trust within the organization and the HR function.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree, with strong academic credentials and noteworthy extracurricular leadership
- Strong attention to detail and highly organised
- Proactive mindset to work
- Ability to multitask and prioritise in a fastpaced environment
- High degree of professionalism and integrity
- Excellent written communication
- Fluency in English is essential and businesslevel proficiency in German or Portuguese is beneficial
