Senior Sustainability Benchmarking Specialist

The Team:

Sustainability Benchmarking Services supports corporates to better understand their ESG performance compared to their peers, through a broad range of products and services.


The Impact:

In this role you will be responsible for providing high-quality benchmarking reports to the clients as well as understand the clients needs and deliver to them the most appropriate service whether it be in report format, through online platforms, or in personal workshops.

You will become a key player in the Sustainability Benchmarking team. In this fast-growing space the range of products and services needs to constantly evolve following the new ESG requirements. As an ESG specialist, you will become a reference point for corporates and other stakeholders.


You will have the opportunity to grow in this role, as you gain experience with the S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA) Methodology to analyze the sustainability performance of thousands of companies worldwide.


Responsibilities:

Finalization and delivery of high-quality Sustainability Benchmarking Services to clients all over the world
Client Relationship Management
Supporting the identification and development of new business opportunities (clients, products, markets, channels)
Respond to client / partner organization requests and prepare customized offers
Representation in events through presentations, client-specific workshops as well as product and process trainings and knowledge sharing sessions for internal peers


What We're Looking For:

Higher education degree, preferably with a focus on sustainability, e.g. with some specialized courses related to corporate responsibility, sustainable development, responsible investing, environmental management
4+ years of work experience in the field of sustainability, in the financial industry or in consulting is a plus
Strong analytical skills with an acute attention to detail
Ability to work independently and in an organized manner
Reliable as well as goal

Innovative thinking and proactive behavior
Client orientation and good negotiation skills
Good communication skills in English
