Finance Business Partner - Mansfield - £35,000-£40,000

Chase & Holland are delighted to be working with a client who is keen to recruit a determined and driven accountant to their team.

The client we are working with is based in manufacturing and they are looking for someone who will be able to help with the analysisand costing on the company's ongoing projects.

We are looking for someone with excel skills and a high level of motivation. This role will come with study support towards additional accounting qualifications.

This is a role which has come about due to internalpromotion and will be suitable for someone who is looking to make a meaningful impact to the success of a company.

Role Responsibilities:

Liaise with other departments within the business to understand their functions and be able to provide financial advice
Develop a management pack for other stakeholders within the business to allow them to implement cost saving measures
Ensure project costs are controlled and inform others on how to make sensible financial decisions
Undertake monthend and yearend accounting processes which will include work with balance sheets and general ledgers
Variance analysis and reporting on these
Working within the finance team to implement processes to allow for accurate budgeting and forecasting
Supporting the continuous improvement of management information, systems, and processes within the business

What we're looking for:

Part qualified (ACCA/CIMA/AAT) or QBE with experience of working in accounts
Experience of working in a management accounting role
Analytical mindset, with excellent attention to detail
Excellent Excel skills
Resilient and motivated with innovative ideas which will aid the company's performance
Confident in communicating financial information and controls to nonfinance colleagues
Able to build and maintain crossfunctional relationships, developing trust and credibility across the business

Hours:

Fulltime, Monday to Friday
