Job Description At the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team, a group of passionate and determined people work to design, develop, manufacture and race the cars driven by seven-time World Champion Lewis Hamilton and rising star George Russell.

The Team has set a new benchmark for Formula One success during the sport's current Hybrid era, winning consecutive Drivers' and Constructors' World Championships in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020, and the Constructors' Championship in 2021.

Key responsibilities/Duties:

Working closely with Designers and Structural Engineers, and other Engineering Groups you will produce optimised laminate designs to achieve the highest levels of performance, reliability, and efficiency.
Understand and drive cost effective design solutions.
Close collaboration with internal and external manufacturing departments to ensure fully integrated designs achieving optimal car performance.
Generating laminate detail in Coral Draw & CPD.
Supporting components throughout the product life cycle and in support of the team's reliability function.
High level Composite manufacturing experience with good understanding of materials and manufacturing techniques.
Having multiple years' experience in F1, another toplevel motorsport category is an advantage.
Good level user of Coral Draw
Experience of Dassault 3DX is beneficial
Excellent communication and collaborative skills to ensure cross departmental integration.
High attention to detail and the ability to work under limited supervision to tight deadlines.
