We are now looking to recruit a permanent Senior Lecturer in Coastal Conservation and Environmental Management to lead and enhance the teaching of construction within the Institute of Science and Art.

This is an exciting time for our Environmental Provision and you will have the opportunity to help build and develop the future direction of this discipline.


  • THE ROLE
  • You will primarily be engaged in the design and delivery of professionally related content at undergraduate and postgraduate level. You will be expected to develop and deliver academically challenging, vocational related content incorporating innovative teaching and assessment methods to develop students' competence and capability in a variety of areas.

These may include:

  • Coastal & Marine Conservation,
  • Environmental Policy & Governance
  • Physical Geography
  • Research Methodologies
  • Strategic Management

The role will also involve marketing and developing what is a new programme and contributing to the development of an Apprenticeship pathway.
