We're looking for someone who is aligned with our core values and have the following skills and experience.


As Head of Production you will work across multiple cutting-edge AAA games to lead and manage the production team reporting into the COO.


Responsibilities:


  • Working with the COO with project direction, planning and scoping within the production team.
  • Owning the production pipeline across the studio.
  • Ensuring all deliveries meet quality bar and deadline in collaboration with the art department.
  • Resource management across all projects assessing and allocating resources in response to evolving project needs.
  • Full oversight and management of workflow efficiencies, risk management and escalations, scheduling, tracking and resourcing.
  • Adapting to change whilst maintaining a credible project plan.
  • Monitoring progress against the schedule and budget, being reactive to project creep.
  • Guide, develop and motivate direct reports and wider team to deliver exceptional work in a positive, constructive, and enjoyable working environment embedding our company values.
  • Driving clear and concise communication channels internally and externally
  • Drive the upskilling and growth of the production teams.
  • Set and manage department KPI's to ensure best in class project delivery.

Experience:


  • 5+ years experience within a managerial role.
  • Experience in a client facing role within games preferably AAA projects.
  • Experience developing and mentoring a team of Project Managers/Producers and motivating a wider multidisciplinary team.
  • Experience working within an agile and traditional methodologies and best practices.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and to strict deadlines.
  • Experience managing and allocating budgets within a department and across projects.
  • Experience creating, implementing and documenting new procedures within a department.
  • Experience creating and submitting monthly reports based on departmental progress and KPIs
  • Working knowledge of project management software such as Shotgrid (preferred), Jira, MS Project, Hansoft etc

Desirable:


  • Passion for video games and understanding of their future, both from an industry and a technical standpoint.
  • Experience within art management and/or outsourcing management within AAA games.
  • Comfortable reviewing contracts and highlighting issues from a production perspective.
  • Experience working within a fast paced and growing company.
